ICELAND PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP MISSION
During this unique Iceland Photography Workshop this September 2025, we will explore the spectacular waterfalls of Iceland’s magnificent south, east and west coast. This is the only workshop in the market covering so many parts and spots in Iceland in one trip. No doubt, this fall photography tour has it all.
Across eight memorable days, we will travel in the magical landscapes and unusual lighting conditions that have made Iceland one of the world’s premier photography destinations. This is one of the most excellent opportunities for landscape photographers looking to bulk up their portfolio and gain new photography skills together with an experienced team leader.

ICELAND PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP 2025 ITERINARY
Please fill the form below to express interest in this workshop and a detailed itinerary with all the stops will be emailed to you. The organizer will contact you for a brief chat to get to know you and your personal needs.
Day 1: Arrival in Reykjavik & Orientation
- Arrive at your hotel near Reykjavik and settle down. Arrival at the hotel is on each individual but the stay overnight is included in the workshop price.
- Evening Orientation & Welcome Dinner:Meet your photography guide and the group in Reykjavik. Discuss the workshop schedule, gear, and photography tips tailored for Iceland’s landscape.
- Overnight:in a hotel near Reykjavik.
Day 2: Golden Circle Waterfalls
- During the second day we will travel to various locations with waterfalls within the Golden Circle. The number of places to visit depends on the weather and time spent in each location to meet the needs of the group. The list is long so get prepared for a long day full of adventure.
- Overnight: Stay near the Ring Road e.g. Selfoss
Day 3: North Coast- from Selfoss to Vik
- During the third day we will travel to various locations with waterfalls starting from Selfoss and ending up in Vik. The number of places to visit depends on the weather and time spent in each location to meet the needs of the group. The list is long so get prepared for a long day full of adventure.
- Arrive in Vik and settle in our hotel.
- Sunset photography near Vik if weather permits.
Day 4: Reynisfjara Beach & Diamond Beach
- Sunrise shoot at Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach:Arrive early for a sunrise shoot at Reynisfjara, capturing the iconic basalt sea stacks (Reynisdrangar) and dramatic waves. Be cautious of sneaker waves.
- Visit more waterfalls and canyons on the way to Glacier Lagoon. Depending on weather and group fitness level we can aim for a hike at Svartifoss.
- Sunset at glacier lagoon and diamond beach for stunning pictures.
- Overnight:Settle in our hotel in Hofn area.
Day 5: Vestrahorn Mountain and East Iceland
- Sunrise shooting at the stunning Vestrahorn Mountain, one of Iceland’s most iconic photography spots. Photograph its reflection in the shallow pools or the windswept black sand dunes.
- We will head east to various waterfalls for the rest of the day depending on the weather and time spent in each location to meet the group’s needs.
- Return to Hofn
- Sunset at Vestrahorn Mountain
Day 6: Return to Reykjavik
- This day will be mostly spent in the minivan to return to Reykjavik. It is a long drive so take the opportunity to sit back and take a rest for the last experience in the west to follow. Various stop will be done throughout the way to make the trip comfortable.
- Overnight:Settle in our hotel near Reykjavik.
Day 7: Snaefellsnes Peninsula
- During our seventh day we will visit Snaefellnes Peninsula. Various locations are in the list. Be prepared for an exotic “lunar” landscape.
- Overnight:Settle in our hotel in Snaefellsness Penninsula
- Sunset and Night Photography depending on the weather and aurora activity.
Day 8: Return to Reykjavik
- Return to Reykjavik:Arrive back in Reykjavik in the evening and settle in our hotel
- Farewell Group Dinner: After a week full of adventure and stunning captures on your flashdrives, meet for a goodbye dinner to share your thoughts and feedback for the workshop. For sure you will be heading home with lots of unforgettable memories and great shots!

ICELAND PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP 2025 TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Booking and Payment Terms
1.1 Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of 60% is required at the time of booking to secure your spot in the workshop.
1.2 Full Payment
The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 4 weeks before the workshop start date. Failure to pay the remaining balance on time may result in the cancellation of your booking, with no refund of the deposit.
1.3 Payment Methods
Payment can be made via Bank Transfer. The customer is responsible for any transaction fees.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
2.1 Cancellation by Participant
•More than 20 days before the start date: You will receive a refund of the amount paid, minus the non-refundable deposit.
•Less than 20 days before the start date: No refund will be provided.
•Travel insurance is strongly recommended to cover any unforeseen circumstances.
2.2 Cancellation by the Organizers
In the event that the workshop must be canceled due to insufficient participants, extreme weather, or other unforeseen circumstances, participants will receive a full refund of only of the refundable amount.
3. Travel and Accommodation
3.1 Travel Arrangements
Participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements to and from Reykjavik, Iceland. The workshop begins and ends in Reykjavik, and any transportation during the workshop will be provided as outlined in the itinerary.
3.2 Accommodation
Accommodation for the duration of the workshop is included in the price and is based on single occupancy.
3.3 Meals
Meals will be provided as specified in the workshop itinerary. Participants are responsible for any additional meals, snacks, or drinks not included.
4. Workshop Itinerary and Changes
4.1 Itinerary Flexibility
The workshop itinerary is subject to change due to weather conditions, road closures, or other unforeseen circumstances. The photography guide may adjust the schedule to ensure the best possible photographic opportunities.
4.2 Weather Conditions
Iceland’s weather can be unpredictable and harsh. The organizers are not responsible for poor weather or any resulting inability to access certain locations. Participants are advised to come prepared with suitable gear and clothing.
4.3 Event of road closure
In the adverse event of extreme weather where roads are officially closed for security reasons, attendants will need to extend their stay at a particular hotel not covered under the workshop schedule. In these cases, extra costs to cover the extra nights are not the organizers responsibility. Each individual must be prepared to cover these extra costs of accomodation. Refund from the hotels booked for those nights that occupancy will not be possible are usually not available as they are in a last minute basis.
5. Health and Safety
5.1 Fitness Level
Participants should have a moderate level of physical fitness, as the workshop may involve hiking and walking on uneven terrain, including glacier hikes and rugged landscapes. If you have any health concerns or limitations, please inform the organizers in advance.
5.2 Travel Insurance
Participants are advised to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical expenses, trip cancellation, lost luggage, and personal injury.
5.3 Responsibility for Safety
While the organizers and guides will take all necessary precautions for your safety, participation in the workshop is at your own risk. The organizers are not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or loss/damage to personal property during the workshop.
6. Photography Instruction
6.1 Skill Level
This workshop is open to photographers of all skill levels, from beginner to advanced. However, participants are expected to have a basic understanding of their camera equipment.
6.2 Equipment
Participants are responsible for bringing their own photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, tripods, filters, and spare batteries. A recommended equipment list will be provided upon booking. The organizers are not responsible for any loss, damage, or malfunction of equipment during the workshop.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Copyright of Photographs
All photographs taken by participants during the workshop remain their intellectual property. However, the organizers reserve the right to request permission to use participants’ photos for promotional purposes.
7.2 Use of Workshop Materials
All instructional materials, guides, and information provided during the workshop are for personal use only. Reproduction or distribution of these materials for commercial use is prohibited without written permission from the organizers.
8. Liability Waiver
8.1 Liability Disclaimer
The organizers and guides of the photography workshop assume no liability for injury, illness, damage, loss, accident, delay, or any irregularity that may occur during the course of the workshop.
8.2 Force Majeure
The organizers are not liable for failure to provide the services outlined in the itinerary due to acts of God, war, strikes, weather, or any other causes beyond their control.
9. Code of Conduct
9.1 Respect for Group and Environment
Participants are expected to be respectful to other participants, the guide, and the environment. Disruptive behavior or damage to property may result in the removal from the workshop without refund.
9.2 Leave No Trace
Participants are expected to follow environmental guidelines, including Iceland’s “Leave No Trace” principles, to ensure that we preserve the landscapes we visit.
10. Changes to Terms and Conditions
The organizers reserve the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to participants promptly.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By booking and participating in the photography workshop, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
This document ensures that both the organizers and participants are aligned on expectations for the workshop, providing clarity and reducing the risk of misunderstandings.
